Spa Pool Care Suggestions

For the whole spa: Use mild non-abrasive, non-sudsing cleansers with a soft rag or nylon scrubber to eliminate grime buildup.

For minor surface cleaning: Use baking soda to clean small surface areas.

To get a shiny look: Use FreshWater Spa Glow on your clean and dry spa shell.

For spa pool pillows: Eliminate grime and clean your spa pool pillows by following your Owner's Manual instructions.

For vinyl covers: Use a mild soap solution (1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid to 8 litres water) or baking soda and scrub the vinyl in a circular motion. Rinse the bottom of the cover and wipe clean with a dry rag.

Helpful Hint: Keep soap and detergent residue from your spa pool by rinsing off in a shower without soap before you soak and avoid the use of detergents on your bathers.

Stay safe and sanitised: Guard yourself against outbreaks of bacteria, algae and unwanted impurities by keeping sanitiser supplies on hand.

Clean Your Spa Filter Cartridges

Calcification and mineral particles from hard water can clog water filtration systems. To avoid this, we recommend the following light cleaning every month.

Spray cartridges: Rotate while spraying to remove debris between filter pleats and spray each cartridge with your hose.

Use filter cleaner: To keep your filets in prime condition.

Replace filters: Replace filters every three years with authentic Watkins replacement filters.

Replacing Your Spa Water

Soaps and detergents can build over time and cause spa deposits. You may then note your water is not as clean and clear as usual. Know how to replace your water with these simple steps.

Drain and refill bath: Drain and refill the water in your spa to clear built up detergent and soap residue.

Get pre-filter: Use the CleanScreen(TMark) Pre-Filter for clear and sparkling water right from the start.

Attach pre-filter: When using the CleanScreen Pre-Filter, attach it to a garden hose to eliminate organic contaminants such as copper, iron and tannins.
